The 17th International Conference on X-ray Absorption Fine Structure will be scheduled from 22–27 July 2018 in Kraków, Poland.
XAFS Conferences have a well -established tradition. The first one was held in 1981, and since 2000 they have been organized every three years, each time in a different part of the World. In 2018, Central Europe will host it for the first time. It will be in Kraków, the former capital of Poland, the town of the 650 years old Jagiellonian University where on its modern campus the first Polish synchrotron – SOLARIS was built.
The conference will be focused on recent advances in synchrotron radiation science and technology in the fields of physics, chemistry, materials science, biology and medicine.
The meeting will include invited talks, workshops, poster sessions, and of course the vendor exhibits, where you can find out about all the latest exciting offerings from Quantum Detectors. Please visit our booth where Chris Hearn will be happy to engage with you.
