What is your name?
What is your job title?
What does a typical day at QD look like for you?
A typical day for me involves an array of tasks, whether that be designing mechanical housing for our brand new state-of-the-art products, aiding my team with any potential enquiries they may have, or crafting up drawing reviews.
What about your job do you enjoy the most?
My favourite element of my job is the ability to produce work from the ground up and turn it into reality.
If you had any advice for someone wanting to pursue a career in Design Engineering what would it be?
My advice to any promising Design Engineers is the key is creativity. Thinking outside the box is essential and looking at things holistically is what helps. Also, don’t be afraid to challenge each and every one of your designs, as things can always be improved upon and it’s that determination that will help you succeed in this industry.
Can you tell us what you like to do in your free time?
My free time is mainly devoted to the ones closest to my heart, whether that be family or friends. Additionally, I enjoy hiking and gaming when I am not in the office. I’m often giving suggestions and reviews on new hiking trails to other QD hikers!
