Quantum Detectors received a visit from Dr. Richard Henderson and Dr. Chris Russo from MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) on Monday 23rd January 2023. Our visitors received an in-depth tour of our production facility and specifically, our dedicated Quantum C100 facility. MRC-LMB will be receiving the very first Quantum C100 in a few weeks, with exciting results sure to follow.
Dr Liam O’Ryan, Chief Technology Officer at Quantum Detectors said: “Involving our customers throughout the product development process is the cornerstone of our R&D strategy. Working closely with Dr. Henderson and Dr. Russo allows us to quickly get our technology into the hands of the scientists who are best placed to exploit it. Our goal is to ensure that our detection technology is the fuel behind future scientific breakthroughs.”
The Quantum C100 is specifically designed for Life Sciences applications. We are removing barriers to discovery by developing a high-performance detector, which, combined with 100 keV optimised Transmission Electron Microscopes, is set to transform the field of Cryo-EM by enabling top-quality data whilst operating at a much lower energy.
