The 77th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Microscopy in 2021 will be held for three days from June 14th (Monday) to June 16th (Wednesday), 2021 at Tsukuba International Congress Center (Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture). A meeting that engineers and researchers from various fields gather with the keyword of microscopes, and they will give fruitful academic presentations beyond the boundaries of specialised fields such as equipment/materials and medicine/biological systems, and even beyond the boundaries of academic societies and industry. The theme of this Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Microscopy is “Microscopy Science & Technology in the Age of Digital Transformation”. Digital transformation (DX) means “transforming society, industrial structure, and life for the better with ever-evolving advanced digital information technology.”
